I can still remember the day when I looked in the mirror and thought, "you look really good". I definitely didn't see that I was weighing 225 pounds. It was incredible. I saw something in the mirror that wasn't there. I was overweight and hurting. I didn't even know it.
Little did I know that even back then God was grooming me for something to be extremely passionate about. I had no idea that I was going to go on a 10 year journey of studying every diet and nutrition book to find out what worked and what didn't. That I would find out which diets harmed and which helped.
I also got many lessons along the way on the underlying emotional issues that was holding me back from truly being free of the food addictions I had. One thing I never realized is that eating can become an addiction. I never heard of that.
Today, I get to help hundreds of people find themselves while they reinvent themselves. I am truly honored that I get to walk alongside with the people I get to help. It is so rewarding to be a part of such significant change in people's lives.
I look at life very differently today. I only have one vehicle - one body. I want it to be the same when I am 70 as I am today.
