Carrie Nye is an adventure junky. Driven by the desire to seek God's face and will for her life, she lives each day by expecting the unexpected. Carrie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Vanguard University, Costa Mesa, CA (2002) and a Master of Arts Degree in Word Missions and Evangelism from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, S. Hamilton, MA (2006).

Carrie is most passionate about entering into a culture other than her own with the purpose of sharing her faith in Jesus Christ. She has served as a short-term missionary to Mexico, Africa and Eastern Europe on several occasions. With each experience overseas, her relationship with her Creator God expands and results in richer relationships formed within those in her local and global communities. Carrie is also working with conversantlife.com to establish a purpose network of individuals who are actively engaged in crossing cultures for the goal of sharing and living Jesus to all the nations.

Carrie absolutely loves the pain felt from wholehearted laughter. She consumes a pot of coffee per day on average and will challenge anyone to a game of bowling at any given moment. With her love for travel, she is likely to up and go just about anywhere with little planning or warning. While she resides in Garden Grove, CA, Carrie considers her 1998 Black 4Runner, Black Jack, home. With over 180,000 miles and counting she and Black Jack have seen much of the United States, many of the miles driven without a road map; only a direction.

Carrie has claimed these words by the Prophet Micah to illuminate her life's path and direction and invites everyone willing to join her with: "What does the Lord require of me? To act justly, and to love mercy and to walk humbly with my God." -Micah 6:8.
